Microblading is a form of tattooing that involves using tiny needles that are lined in a row. Using this tool your artist will cut/scratch and deposit pigment simultaneously under your epidermis into the dermis. This technique is best suitable for healthy skin that is normal to dry.
Ombre brows, also known as Powdered Brows, are a technique that achieves a soft and Dusty look. It gives great definition & depth to the eyebrows. Nearly all skin is a candidate for this style of eyebrow.
What is the main Difference between Ombre & Microblading?
The main difference between the two techniques is how the pigment is deposited into the skin. Microblading uses a handheld tool to carve small cuts into the skin, whereas Ombre brows are done using a machine. The Ombre/Powder technique is much less invasive than microblading. Due to this it also lasts longer and has much less risk of scar tissue buildup.
Side note: Most artist opt for a powder brow when having theirs done.... you should too! 😉 #stayeducated
